DeMar DeRozan Reaches for Another Vince Carter Raptors Scoring Record

Last night, DeMar DeRozan (game-high 40 points) tied Vince Carter’s Raptors franchise record of 30 games of 30+ points in a single season, set in 2001. This was DeRozan’s 7th 40-point performance this year, only adding to the argument that he has surpassed legends like Carter and Chris Bosh as the greatest Raptor scorer of all time.

With 6 games left in the season, and with more of the weight of scoring on Demar with Kyle Lowry’s injury and absence, it is likely that DeRozan may break Carter’s record, solidifying his status.
